Simon Gornick is a stay at home dad from London who lives in Los Angeles, California. At his age he will never get a full time job again. His vast and varied experience includes producing prestigious British political television programs, writing and directing a feature film, writing innumerable and usually pretty impressive plays and screenplays, and setting up far too many internet video companies with no money. For anyone who knows me, the final observation is a running theme.

“There Is No Plan” is designed to question the zeitgeist on just about any subject, but focuses most of its energy on the US political arena. The name comes from my firm belief that no matter how hard anyone professes to have one, life and politics never turns out the way you expect it to.

  1. Simon! I miss talking to you. I just posted an article on Impractical Proposals about the bombing in Kabul and I want to hear what you think. Are you around? Coffee? Cheers, J.
